Perfect Pour-Over Coffee
Master the art of pour-over coffee with your Culivaro electric kettle. Precise water temperature and a slow, steady pour unlock the rich, aromatic notes of your favorite beans — cafe quality at home.
Ingredients
- 20 g freshly ground coffee (medium-fine grind)
- 300 ml filtered water
- 1 pour-over dripper (V60 or similar)
- 1 paper filter (rinsed)
- 1 cup or carafe
- Culivaro electric kettle with temperature control
Instructions
- Heat the water: Bring filtered water to 200°F (93°C) in your Culivaro electric kettle — just off the boil to avoid bitter extraction.
- Rinse the filter: Place the paper filter in the dripper and pour hot water through it to remove paper taste and warm the brewer. Discard the rinse water.
- Add coffee and bloom: Add the ground coffee and gently shake to level. Pour 40 g of water in slow circles to saturate the grounds, then let it bloom for 30–45 seconds.
- Main pour: Continue pouring in slow, circular motions, keeping the water level steady, until you reach 300 g total. Aim for a total brew time of 2:30–3:00 minutes.
- Serve: Let the dripper drain completely, swirl the carafe to blend, and enjoy immediately in a warm mug.
Pro tip: Use a gooseneck kettle for maximum control, and keep your grind consistent — a coarse grind extracts too fast, a fine grind clogs the filter and over-extracts.
