Crispy Air-Fried Chicken Wings
Golden, crispy wings with less oil — perfect for game day or family dinner. The Culivaro air fryer circulates hot air for that deep-fried crunch using up to 85% less oil, and ready in just 25 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 lb chicken wings, split into drumettes and flats
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 2 tbsp honey (for glaze)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hot sauce (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (garnish)
Instructions
- Prep the wings: Pat the wings completely dry with paper towels — dry skin is the secret to crispiness. Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat the air fryer: Set your Culivaro air fryer to 400°F and preheat for 3 minutes.
- Air fry: Arrange wings in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between each piece. Cook at 400°F for 22–25 minutes, shaking the basket at the halfway point, until golden and crispy.
- Make the glaze: While the wings cook, whisk honey, soy sauce, and hot sauce in a small bowl.
- Glaze and serve: Toss the hot wings in the glaze, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately with celery sticks and ranch dressing.
Pro tip: For extra-crispy skin, sprinkle a pinch of baking powder over the wings before seasoning — it helps draw out moisture for a crunchier finish.
